Students are required to read 20 minutes every night and write a brief 2-3 sentence summary of their reading on their Read and Respond sheet. We ask that parents/guardians also sign this summary.
Each block on the sheet accounts for one lesson. Since each lesson may last for about two days, students have up to two days to complete the assignment. If students have been assigned reading in other subjects,such as Language Arts, Science or Social Studies, this reading could be used as their Read and Respond material.
